Clearbridge Accelerator announced today that it has received an investment from Tim Draper,a well-established venture capitalist based in the Silicon Valley. Mr Draper, who is the Founder and a Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ), is well known for making early-stage investments in dynamic companies in new markets.

The National Research Fund (NRF) announced today that several of the Technology Incubators selected under the Technology Incubation Scheme(TIS) last year have made their first investments under the scheme. Alongside other incubators, Clearbridge Accelerator featured its first 2 incubatees, Clearbridge BioMedics and Clearbridge NanoMedics. We look forward to NRF's continual support in allowing us to nurture future global technology leaders.

Clearbridge Accelerator and the National University of Singapore jointly announced the establishment of another spin-off company, Clearbridge NanoMedics (CBN). CBN will be developing a nanofibre mesh for use in cosmetics and wound management, with the first product being a facial mask.
